Cynthia Patino

Cynthia Patino is director of visual communications at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in California. Prior to becoming the assistant department chair, she served as a career development advisor for the Interior Design and Visual Communications department at FIDM. Her retail experience includes GAP Inc.'s Old Navy Division as general manager, store operations manager, and merchandise manager. Patino also held various management positions at Bullocks Department Store.

Patino is a member of the Grammy Museum Community Advisory Board, a member of the Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA), a committee chair for the Project Angel Food/Divine Design Gala, and an advisory board member for the FIDM Alumni Association.
