Little
As New York Retail Studio Principal for Little, David is responsible for managing all aspects of Little’s Retail Practice Area in New York City, including advancing relationships with current Little clients and deepening relationships with retail clientele located in the United States and abroad that are headquartered in New York City.
David brings together his love for art, architecture, interior design, graphics, consumer behavior, fashion, furniture design and construction into a multi-disciplinary, holistic approach to retail design. His portfolio includes projects ranging from high-end fashion luxury name brands to off-price mass merchants, and from fully interactive high-tech bricks and clicks to independent mom and pop retailers. David’s clients have included ILORI, Perry Ellis, Toys ‘R Us, Lacoste, Polo Jeans Company, Godiva Chocolatier, Levi’s, Candie’s, Bean Pole, Giordano and Ralph Lauren.
David is a frequent lecturer and has served as adjunct professor for the MS Interior Design Program at the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, the Department of Architecture & Interior Design of Drexel University in Philadelphia, New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising and the International Academy of Merchandising and Design in Montreal. David has also served as the Director of the Visual Merchandising Department at LaSalle International Fashion School in Singapore.
As a frequently requested speaker to retailers and design professionals nationally and internationally, David also shares his expertise on subjects ranging from consumer behaviors and trends to value engineering, store design and visual merchandising. He currently brings his creativity and insight on retailing to an international audience as a member of VMSD magazine’s Editorial Advisory Board and the Association for Retail Environments (A.R.E.) Dream Team.
David earned his B.S. in Architecture and Bachelors of Architecture degrees from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec Canada. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), The Retail Design Institute (RDI) and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED® AP). |
