PAVE Launches New Student Aid Program
Hollywood, Fla. (July 9, 2009)—The Planning and Visual Education partnership (PAVE) is pleased to announce it has launched a new Student Aid Program. This program will provide financial assistance to students entering into careers in the retail design and planning, and visual merchandising industries.
This program was developed to support PAVE’s mission of supporting students studying in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising. PAVE has recognized the need to assist students with funds to cover basic needs through the creation of the Student Aid Program.
The purpose of these special funds is to assist students who are experiencing financial difficulties that may impact their ability to continue their schooling. The intent is to provide for basic needs such as food, housing, books, tuition, health insurance, medical bills, utilities, transportation, etc.
Guidelines and requirements, as well as the application, can be found at www.paveinfo.org. The deadline for receipt of student’s applications is Oct. 1, 2009.

Founded in 1992, The Planning and Visual Education Partnership’s (PAVE) objective is to encourage students to study in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising through its annual Student Design Competition. Additionally, PAVE seeks to encourage retail management, store planners, visual merchandisers, architects, and manufacturers to interact with and support design students. This is accomplished through projects, seminars, workshops, and the annual fundraising Gala with proceeds dedicated to educational programs and projects benefiting students. PAVE is a 501(c)(3) educational foundation administered by A.R.E.
